What are your qualifications and licensing?

20+ years experience. In the State of New York, I am a licensed and registered to practice Architecture, and certified as a Code Enforcement Official.

What area is your experience?

Currently, I specialize in residential architecture, interior design, and commercial fit-outs. However, I spent much of my career working with various types of municipalities.

What is your design philosophy?

I listen closely, collaborate, and develop ideas for beautiful, functional, and cost-effective results.

Do you have a portfolio of similar projects?

Some of my work can not be displayed due to ownership rights, but I can provide examples upon request.

What is your communication style?

Clear and responsive. I ask my clients their preferred communication: phone, text, email, in-person or virtual meetings. For my virtual services I mainly use email, and phone calls as needed. Mon–Fri, 10am–5pm EST.

How do you handle budgets?

First is understanding the budget range. This includes design fees + construction + furnishings/fixtures/equipment. Share your budget in the questionnaire. My cost management is transparent and based upon regional data.

Do you offer design-build?

NO. In NY, Architects are limited to design services. The limitations are due to laws and restrictions.

General Contractors cannot offer Architectural Services, only licensed professionals.

What is included in your fees?

Details are provided upfront based on requested services. Typically, they are lump sum, percentage-based, or hourly.

I am building a new home. How does this work?

I can work in phases alongside your builder. I recommend starting with finishes and layouts, then furnishings later.

How long does it take?

Refer to my typical project time frame on our services page. Each project has its own complexities so duration varies.

For my Virtual Design Consulting Packages, designs can be delivered in 2–4 weeks (Premium: 5–7 weeks). You control the start date.

Do you offer refunds?

No refunds after design work begins. Refer to my Virtual Design Consulting Packages, for included revisions.

What if I need to upgrade later?

Easy. I’ll invoice only the price difference.

Will the 3D render match my actual room?

As close as possible using your photos and measurements (Houzz Pro LiDAR recommended).
